Sergio D. Bechara, Chairman
Sergio D. Bechara has been in the insurance industry for 20 years. In 1991 he earned his Certified Insurance Counselor, ("CIC"), a professional designation in the insurance industry. For 10 years, Bechara has been an active member of the Entrepreneurs Organization, an international organization comprised of company founders and CEOs around the world. Bechara was also a member of TEC International, an organization dedicated to the continued education and professional development of CEOs.
Bechara founded Millennium Corporate Solutions™ ("MCS") in 1997. MCS started with 2 employees and zero revenue. Today MCS has three locations, is licensed nationally, does business globally, and serves its clients through the efforts of 85 employees. MCS has earned the respect and trust of over 6000 clients and manages over $200,000,000 in premium.
Bechara founded Millennium with purpose of providing clients with an array of critical professional services and access to "Top Gun" professionals to shepherd their clients through their various needs. He set MCS's agenda as one to offer the clients an alternative to the increasingly commoditized delivery of professional services. Bechara describes MCS a high service, high touch, high care boutique environment for middle market clients to be served in.
The philosophy Bechara instilled throughout MCS as the common approach to address clients' needs is simple -- "Question, Listen, Understand and Act and above all deliver results!"
Stephen J. Saporito, Chief Operating Officer
As COO, Steve's focus is to: (1) Serve as a coordinator and integrator of the firm's general policies, (2) Serve as a coordinator and integrator of all new merger and acquisition deals and producers, (3) Maintain an active role in business development, and (4) Serve as the firm's main liaison to the carrier community.
Steve has been with the company since 2000 and started with Millennium as Director of Business Development. In this role he was responsible for increasing revenues, liaising between Millennium and its insurance providers, managing all technology issues, and facilitating general business practices. From 1999-2001 Saporito was the COO of Insureon.com -- a start-up insurance dot-com company. Prior to that he worked for California Compensation as Marketing/Underwriting manager in Orange, Calif. He began his insurance career at Aetna as an underwriter. Steve also serves on Millennium's Board of Directors.
